Aged Care | Perth Metro WA (South of the River Sites) | Full-Time Opportunity

Mars Healthcare are currently partnering with a well-established aged care provider across multiple Perth Metro sites (South of the River) who are seeking a Speech Pathologist to join their multidisciplinary team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Allied Health Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality speech pathology services to residents, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of communication and swallowing disorders.

You will play a key role in managing a dysphagia-focused caseload, while also supporting organisation-wide menu management initiatives and contributing to Nutrition & Hydration programs to ensure safe and effective care outcomes.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will utilise your strong communication, clinical reasoning, and problem-solving skills to build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and care staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a dysphagia-focused clinical caseload within aged care
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualised management plans
  • Supporting residents with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Contributing to Nutrition & Hydration programs and menu management initiatives
  • Working collaboratively with nursing, allied health and care staff
  • Supporting ongoing care planning and positive resident outcomes
  • Participating in service delivery and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology with current membership to Speech Pathology Australia
  • Postgraduate experience managing dysphagia caseloads
  • Experience within aged care (highly regarded)
  • Strong communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Up-to-date Influenza vaccination
  • Full Australian working rights (sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate)
