Looking for a flexible opportunity to utilise your specialist radiology expertise while contributing to a nationally significant health program?

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Radiologist to join a highly regarded migration health team, providing expert clinical advice on imaging assessments that support Australia's migration health framework. This role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in a collaborative, advisory-focused environment while maintaining your existing clinical commitments.

The Opportunity

  • Initial 12-month contract with strong potential for extension
  • Flexible commitment of approximately 1 day per week
  • Competitive rate of $170-$210 per hour + Super
  • Primarily remote working arrangement- must be able to attend clinic when required
  • Monthly allocation of cases provided for review
  • Work alongside another specialist to assess cases and provide clinical recommendations
  • Focus on migration health imaging assessments, including Tuberculosis (TB) screening and review
  • Contribute to quality assurance and evidence-based clinical decision-making within a Federal Government setting

Available Locations

While the role is predominantly remote, applicants must be able to attend one of the following locations for onboarding, training and occasional team requirements:

📍 Hobart
📍 Perth
📍 Darwin

About You

  • Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR)
  • Current Specialist Registration with AHPRA
  • Experience reviewing chest imaging and Tuberculosis (TB) screening scans
  • Strong report writing and clinical reasoning skills
  • Ability to communicate complex clinical information clearly to non-clinical audiences
  • Australian Citizenship is mandatory
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a Commonwealth Baseline Security Clearance
