Due to an internal promotion, the business is looking to recruit a Senior Account Executive. The Senior Account Executive is responsible for developing and executing the new business sales plan for a specific product suite to mid to-large size enterprise organisations in Australia and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively participate in the development and execution of targeted prospecting campaigns aimed at generating new relationships, meetings, and new business opportunities.
Lead and own the sales process for your own sales opportunities, bringing together internal teams to ensure the design of efficient and cost-effective client solutions.
Develop and drive the sales strategy to enable the achievement of revenue and strategic objectives.
Partner with Client Success on an agreed portfolio of key accounts, including new accounts won.
Provide and set the strategic direction across accounts within area of responsibility, focused on growth and retention.
Lead sale of upsell, cross-sell opportunities within portfolio accounts.
Lead commercial negotiations with new business prospects.
Key experience and skills:
5+ years' experience in winning new business.
Proven experience in strategic thinking in proposals and pursuits
Track record in achieving KPI's and budgeted goals.
Proven experience in prospecting and targeting potential clients.
Strong commercial negotiation skills and an ability to influence sales outcomes.
Lateral thinking and ability to problem solve.
Ability to manage multiple priorities - internal and external ability to work under pressure and manage completing deadlines.
Ability to build partnerships.
