Sales Manager

Our client is an Australian software business. For over 20 years, our client has designed, built and delivered software solutions that help manage automotive businesses. They provide organisations a complete business solution and provide Workshop Software, Point of Sale, Accounting and HR solutions.

They are incredibly innovative and are a market leader. Due to growth, they are looking to hire a Sales Manager. This role offers both strategic influence and hands-on execution in shaping growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Account Managers and Business Development Managers to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Review team performance and support professional development in sales methodology and customer engagement.
  • Work with the CEO to shape pricing, positioning, and value proposition improvements.
  • Oversee client portfolios, ensuring delivery excellence and long-term partnerships.
  • Oversee key account relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify new business opportunities through industry networks and market insights.

Key Experience and Skills:

  • Proven experience leading a sales/account management team.
  • Experience working in Software and 7+ years' experience in sales/account management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate sales and account management teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Experience in developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
