I'm currently partnering with a small, not-for-profit aged care provider who want to do things differently.

They are a community-focused, well-supported, and in a genuine growth phase.
They're looking for an experienced Residential Care Manager to take full ownership of a site and be part of the senior leadership team. This isn't a "management" role, it's for someone who wants to lead, improve, and have a real say in how things are done.

On the practical side:

• 9-day fortnight (after probation)
• 5 weeks annual leave

The role

You'll be responsible for the full running of the home: operationally, clinically, and financially with day-to-day looking like:

• Leading and supporting your team (and getting the best out of them)
• Managing budgets, rostering and funding (full P&L)
• Keeping everything aligned with aged care standards & compliance
• Driving continuous improvement (not just ticking boxes)
• Building relationships with families, stakeholders & the local community
• Keeping occupancy strong
• Overseeing quality care + handling feedback/complaints properly

What I'm looking for

• Registered Nurse (AHPRA)
• Previous experience as a Residential Care Manager/ Facility Manager
• Someone who's confident in leading change and improving services
• Strong communicator, with staff, families, and stakeholders
• Commercially aware (you understand budgets, not just care)
• Genuinely cares about raising standards in aged care
