Registered Midwife - Rural Maternity / Team Leader

Rural Queensland | Contract Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Registered Midwives for rural maternity contract opportunities across the Darling Downs.

These positions would suit midwives who are confident working across a broad scope of maternity care and have experience taking a leadership role within a rural or regional service.

About the Role

You may work across:

• Antenatal care

• Postnatal care

• Labour and birth

• Midwifery Group Practice (MGP)

• Foetal surveillance

• Emergency maternity care

• Clinical leadership

• Team coordination

This is an opportunity to work across a varied rural maternity service while expanding your clinical and leadership experience.

Skills & Experience

Candidates should ideally have:

• Current AHPRA registration

• Advanced Life Support (ALS)

• Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation

• Cannulation

• Foetal Surveillance

• MGP experience

• Rural and remote maternity experience

• Team Leader experience

• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills

• Ability to work autonomously within a rural service
