Registered Midwife - MGP / Caseload

Rural & Regional Queensland | Contract Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Registered Midwives for MGP / Caseload opportunities across the Darling Downs region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a midwife who enjoys continuity of care and building strong relationships with women and families throughout their pregnancy, birth and postnatal journey.

About the Role

You will provide comprehensive midwifery care across:

• Antenatal care

• Labour and birth

• Postnatal care

• Midwifery Group Practice / Caseload

• Foetal surveillance

• Antenatal education

• Cannulation

• Continuity of care

The role requires a high level of autonomy, sound clinical judgement and the ability to provide safe, woman-centred care across the maternity journey.

Skills & Experience

We are seeking midwives with:

• Current AHPRA registration

• Recent MGP / Caseload experience

• Foetal Surveillance competency

• Cannulation

• Strong antenatal, birth and postnatal experience

• Ability to work autonomously

• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills

• Rural or regional experience highly regarded

ALS and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation may be required for some positions.

Additional Requirement

On-call participation may be required depending on the position.
