Registered Midwife - Maternity

Central Queensland | Contract Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Registered Midwives (NRG 5) for maternity contract opportunities within a regional Queensland maternity service.

This is a great opportunity for a midwife with strong antenatal, postnatal and birth suite experience who is confident working across a varied maternity environment.

About the Role

You will provide safe, woman-centred care across:

• Antenatal care

• Postnatal care

• Labour and birth

• Birth Suite

• Maternal and newborn assessment

• Multidisciplinary collaboration

• Emergency management and clinical escalation as required

Essential / Desirable Experience

We are seeking midwives with:

• Current AHPRA registration

• Recent maternity experience

• Strong antenatal and postnatal experience

• Recent Birth Suite experience

• Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation competency

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Confidence working within a regional maternity service
