As a Registered Midwife, you will play an integral role in providing safe, evidence-based and woman-centred maternity care throughout the pregnancy, birth and postnatal journey.
Working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will support women and their families while delivering high-quality clinical care in a supportive maternity environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.
Supporting women throughout labour and birth, including monitoring maternal and fetal wellbeing.
Conducting clinical assessments and identifying potential complications.
Assisting with labour management and delivery.
Providing newborn assessments and postnatal support.
Educating and empowering women and families throughout their maternity journey.
Collaborating with obstetricians, nurses and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to relevant clinical guidelines.
To be successful in these opportunities, you will be a dedicated and compassionate midwife with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality maternity care.
You will ideally have:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife.
Recent experience in a maternity or birthing unit.
Experience across antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
Experience with fetal monitoring and labour management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
A flexible and adaptable approach to contract work.
