This Psychology Clinic is a leading provider of comprehensive mental health services, specialising in supporting individuals of all ages, couples, and families across the lifespan. They offer a wide range of counselling services, including individual therapy, couples counselling, adolescent counselling, paediatric support and assessment services. They have a large team of highly experienced psychologists and are committed to providing evidence-based treatments tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

Our client has been making an impact on mental health in Canberra since 2009 and is in an accessible and modern practice in the heart of the CBD. They are a large, dynamic team that embody forward-thinking, innovation, and enthusiasm.


They are seeking Registered/Clinical Psychologists, (no capacity for provisional) however open to all levels of experience.

Open client groups:

  • Child and adolescent counselling
  • Couples/relationship counselling
  • Adults and older persons counselling
  • Assessments for children, adolescents and adults

Responsibilities:

  • Our client values leveraging your strengths. With a richly diverse patient caseload, they empower you to select your preferred client group. This approach fosters improved outcomes for both you and your patients.
  • You'll be responsible for conducting assessments and delivering individual counselling sessions tailored to the needs of patients within your chosen client group.
  • You will facilitate group therapy sessions focusing on self-esteem enhancement, stress management, and coping skills and more.
  • Offering support and treatment for individuals experiencing panic attacks, PTSD, and other trauma-related symptoms
  • Sport Psychology - If you have interest in this group, you will provide sports psychology services to athletes aiming to optimise performance and mental well-being.

Position requirements:

  • Registered or Clinical Psychologist - No provisional psychologists need apply.
  • Full AHPRA Registration
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • NPC, WWCC within 6-month validity or willingness to obtain
  • Australian working rights
