We are seeking an experienced Quality & Risk Manager to join a values-driven, purpose-led organisation working at the forefront of dementia and community care. What You'll Be Doing

As Manager you will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of an integrated quality and risk framework across the organisation.

Your role will include:

  • Quality, Compliance & Governance
  • Leading quality improvement, assurance, and audit processes
  • Ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation
  • Supporting accreditation, audits, and self-assessments with confidence and clarity
  • Risk & Incident Management
  • Overseeing incident management systems and investigation processes
  • Analysing trends to drive proactive improvement and safer services
  • Embedding a strong, practical risk management framework across the organisation
  • Leadership & Capability Building
  • Providing expert guidance to leaders and frontline teams
  • Facilitating quality and risk committees
  • Coaching and mentoring staff to build confidence, capability, and ownership
  • Policy & Sector Engagement
  • Maintaining and reviewing policies to ensure best practice
  • Staying connected to industry developments and regulatory expectations
  • Ensuring systems remain current, effective, and person-centred


What You'll Bring

You're a thoughtful leader who combines technical expertise with strong people skills. You're comfortable influencing at senior levels and equally happy rolling up your sleeves when needed.

You'll have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or 5+ years' experience in aged care quality and/or risk
  • Clinical/ nursing experience highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated leadership in Quality Management Systems and audits
  • Strong understanding of aged care and community sector standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A collaborative, pragmatic approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to translate compliance into meaningful, real-world practice
