The Role


As a Paediatric Speech Pathologist, you will work with children and young people presenting with a range of communication, language, speech, social and developmental needs.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive speech pathology assessments
  • Developing and implementing evidence-based therapy plans
  • Delivering engaging therapy sessions in clinic, schools and community settings
  • Completing assessment, progress and NDIS reports
  • Collaborating with families, educators, support coordinators and healthcare professionals
  • Working closely within a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive client outcomes
  • Supporting and mentoring junior clinicians and speech pathology assistants where appropriate

About You


To be successful, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Experience working within paediatrics, NDIS or private practice environments (desirable)
  • Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A genuine passion for helping children and families achieve their goals
  • Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle
