Paediatric Psychologist | Gregory Hills, NSW

Join a leading paediatric team in Gregory Hills, NSW. Flexible role, structured onboarding, weekly supervision and manageable caseloads

Paediatric Psychologist | Gregory Hills, NSW

Full-Time or Part-Time | Clinic & Community Options Available

MARS Healthcare is partnering with a highly respected paediatric allied health provider in Sydney to recruit a Paediatric Psychologist to join their growing multidisciplinary team based in Gregory Hills, NSW.

This is an excellent opportunity for a psychologist who is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and their families while working within a collaborative environment that prioritises clinician wellbeing, professional development, and sustainable caseload management.

Whether you're an experienced Registered Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Educational & Developmental Psychologist, or a recent graduate / Provisional Psychologist working towards registration, this organisation offers a structured and supportive pathway to long-term success.

About the Organisation

This clinician-led paediatric service has established itself as one of Canberra's most respected allied health providers, delivering evidence-based therapy and assessment services to children and families across the ACT.
With a strong multidisciplinary team including Psychology, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Pathology, the organisation is committed to creating an environment where clinicians can focus on delivering quality outcomes while maintaining a genuine work-life balance.

The Role

You will work with children and adolescents presenting with a range of developmental, behavioural, emotional, and mental health concerns, providing both assessment and therapeutic intervention services.
The position offers flexibility to work across:

  • Clinic-based appointments
  • Community settings
  • School-based services (if desired)

Caseloads are tailored to clinician interests, strengths, and areas of expertise, with strong support provided for graduates who are building confidence and experience in paediatric practice.

Industry-Leading Onboarding & Support

Unlike many services where clinicians are expected to immediately carry a full caseload, this organisation offers a structured 90-day onboarding program designed to set clinicians up for long-term success.
This includes:

  • Gradual caseload build-up over the first 90 days
  • Reduced expectations during onboarding
  • Weekly supervision and mentoring
  • Dedicated support from senior clinicians
  • Maximum caseload of approximately 25 clients
  • Protected administration and documentation time
  • Structured clinical development planning

The focus is on clinician quality, not clinician volume.

What Makes This Role Different?

Genuine Work-Life Balance

  • Full-time or part-time options available
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Dedicated administration time built into your week
  • Sustainable caseload expectations
  • Supportive leadership team that values clinician wellbeing

Professional Development

  • Weekly discipline-specific supervision
  • Regular multidisciplinary learning opportunities
  • Internal and external CPD support
  • Clear career progression pathways

  • Psychologists
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Speech Pathologists

allowing for genuine multidisciplinary collaboration and shared clinical expertise.

Supervision for Provisional Psychologists

Provisional Psychologists and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
The organisation's Head of Psychology is a Board Approved Supervisor and provides extensive support and mentoring. In line with AHPRA best-practice recommendations, provisional psychologists are required to engage an external Primary Supervisor, with the Head of Psychology acting as a Secondary Supervisor.
This approach ensures:

  • Independent oversight of registration requirements
  • High-quality clinical support
  • Access to regular supervision beyond minimum requirements
  • Weekly supervision opportunities within a large psychology team

About You

To be considered, you will have:

  • Registration (or eligibility for registration) with AHPRA
  • A passion for working with children, adolescents, and families
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A collaborative approach to multidisciplinary care
  • A genuine interest in delivering high-quality paediatric services
