Paediatric Occupational Therapist | Frenchs Forest

Are you an Occupational Therapist who genuinely enjoys working with children and wants to be part of a supportive, experienced team?

Mars Healthcare are working with a well-established paediatric Occupational Therapy practice in Frenchs Forest, on Sydney's Northern Beaches, that has been supporting children and families for more than 30 years.

This is a purpose-built clinic environment designed specifically for paediatric therapy, with 11 treatment rooms and two sensory gyms, providing a great space for therapists to do what they do best.

The opportunity

You'll work primarily from the clinic, supporting children across a range of developmental and functional needs. There are also opportunities to work within schools and the community as your experience and interests develop.
The standard working week is:

• Monday-Thursday: 8:00am-5:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am-2:30pm
• Approximately 25 billable hours per week
• Dedicated administration time built into the week
• Appointments scheduled on the hour

The focus is on providing quality therapy rather than simply chasing billable hours.

The Team

The practice is led by an experienced leadership team, including a CEO, Practice Manager, Therapy Manager, Finance Manager, Marketing Manager and two Team Leaders.

When fully staffed, the clinical team includes around 12 Occupational Therapists, alongside the wider support team.

There's a strong emphasis on being a positive presence within the team, supporting one another and enjoying coming to work. The team regularly shares lunch together, with team picnics, walks and other opportunities to connect outside of the clinic.

Being based on Sydney's Northern Beaches certainly doesn't hurt either.
