Occupational Therapist – Aged Care

Opportunity to work with a leading aged care provider South of the River!

Occupational Therapist - Community Aged Care (South Metro WA)
Permanent Part-Time | 0.6 FTE | Weekdays Only

A respected aged care provider in Western Australia is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join its South Metro Community Aged Care team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful, client-centred care within a supportive and values-driven organisation.

The Role

This position involves delivering high-quality therapy and lifestyle programs for both home care and centre-based community services. You will also provide mentorship and clinical guidance to team members as needed.

  • Assess and manage referrals to develop tailored interventions

  • Provide education and advice on aids, equipment, and reablement strategies

  • Work closely with Therapy Assistants to implement individual and group therapy programs

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with client goals and care plans

  • Support multidisciplinary collaboration and participate in team meetings

  • Manage your caseload based on clinical priorities and service needs

  • Travel between sites within the South Metro area as required

About You

  • AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist (unrestricted)

  • Previous experience in aged care or community care settings

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Australian working rights

  • Valid drivers licence and access to a reliable vehicle
