Are you an experienced Social Worker looking for a rewarding locum opportunity in a hospital setting? We're seeking a dedicated professional to provide crisis intervention and short-term support within an Emergency Department in regional NT.

About the Role

In this role, you will:
✅ Provide social work services within a hospital environment, focusing on crisis intervention and short-term support.
✅ Conduct domestic and family violence risk assessments, safety planning, and referrals to appropriate services.
✅ Manage child protection concerns, including mandatory reporting and liaising with relevant agencies.
✅ Work flexible hours, including weekends, after-hours, and 1pm-10pm shifts, as well as on-call duties.

What You'll Need

✔ Experience as a Social Worker in a hospital setting - crisis intervention experience required

✔ Strong knowledge of family violence risk assessment and intervention strategies.

✔ Familiarity with child protection protocols and mandatory reporting requirements.

✔ Willingness to work extended hours and participate in an on-call roster.

✔ Teritary degree in Social Work required

✔ AASW registration desirable

✔ Valid drivers licence
