Mars Healthcare is partnering with a well-established regional healthcare provider in South Australia's beautiful Riverland region to recruit a Locum Physiotherapist for a minimum 3-month contract, commencing early to mid-August.

This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a varied caseload while experiencing one of South Australia's most picturesque regional locations.

The Opportunity

• Minimum 3-month locum contract (longer contracts welcomed)
• Early to mid-August start
• Based in the Riverland region, SA
• Competitive hourly rates

• Alternatively, receive a $250 per week accommodation allowance

The Role

This position offers an excellent mix of clinical work, with a primary focus on Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, alongside opportunities to work across:

• Residential Aged Care
• Acute/General Medical
• Community and outreach services to nearby regional towns

You'll be responsible for:

• Assessing and treating a broad MSK caseload
• Developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans
• Supporting patients to improve mobility, strength and functional independence
• Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Providing care across aged care and hospital settings where required
• Travelling to surrounding regional communities as part of service delivery

This role is ideal for a Physiotherapist who enjoys clinical variety and is keen to broaden their experience across multiple settings.

About You

To be considered, you'll have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
• Previous Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy experience (essential)
• Experience within aged care and/or acute hospital settings is highly regarded
• Current Australian driver's licence (essential)
• Willingness to travel to nearby regional locations
• Excellent communication and clinical reasoning skills
• Australian working rights
