The Opportunity

This is a predominantly paediatric-focused Speech Pathology role, working as a sole practitioner with support from an experienced Allied Health Assistant and wider Allied Health team.

Approximately 80% of the caseload is paediatric community outpatients, primarily preschool-aged children, with some exposure to adult outpatient, inpatient and residential aged care services.

Your Caseload Will Include:

✅ Speech and language delays
✅ Phonological disorders
✅ Dysphagia assessment and management
✅ Voice disorders
✅ Acquired communication impairments
✅ Paediatric community and outpatient services
✅ Some inpatient and aged care swallowing assessments
✅ Occasional home visits

About You

• Qualified Speech Pathologist eligible for Speech Pathology Australia membership
• Experience working with paediatric clients
• Confident working independently within a rural generalist setting
• Experience with dysphagia/swallowing assessments highly regarded
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
