Locum Dietitian - Paediatrics | Regional Victoria
📅March start | 3-month contract
💰$70-$80 per hour

An exciting locum opportunity is available for an experienced APD-qualified Dietitian to join a highly regarded regional Victorian hospital from March, for an initial 3-month contract

You'll be joining a supportive, well-established multidisciplinary team, alongside other locums currently working on site. This is a great role for someone confident, autonomous, and passionate about paediatric care

🏥 The Role
This is a senior-level role with a broad and interesting caseload, including:
Inpatient

• Part of a team of Dietitians covering:

• Sole Paediatric Dietitian for inpatient paeds (no assistance)

Outpatient

• Home Enteral Nutrition (HEN) Program

  • 30 patients with PEG / NGT / PEG-J

  • Sole responsibility for this caseload

• Support and guidance to Grade 1 & 2 Dietitians across:

  • Outpatient Oncology (immunotherapy, chemotherapy & radiotherapy)

  • Paediatric Type 1 Diabetes Clinic

• Formal supervision of Grade 2 Dietitians
• ​​​​​​​Participation in the Food & Nutrition Committee, focusing on malnutrition risk management

👩‍⚕️ What We're Looking For

• APD-accredited Dietitian
• Minimum 3+ years' experience
• Strong paediatric experience and confidence working autonomously
• Comfortable providing supervision and clinical support to junior staff
• Australian working rights required- working holiday visa's welcome!
