Mars Healthcare is partnering with a well-established national allied health provider to recruit an Occupational Therapist for a 3-6 month contract based in Maryborough, Queensland.

With a strong clinical support network and clinics located across Australia, this is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation that offers genuine career progression. At the end of your contract, you may have the opportunity to transition into a permanent position or continue your locum journey at another location within the organisation's national network.

This role is particularly well suited to Working Holiday Visa holders looking to secure ongoing work while exploring Australia.

The Opportunity

• 3-6 month locum contract
• Immediate and flexible start dates
• $50-$60 per hour + Super
• $200 per week accommodation allowance
• Travel reimbursement provided
• Full-time hours
• Opportunity to extend, transition to permanent employment, or relocate to another clinic within the organisation

The Role

You'll join a supportive multidisciplinary team, working across a diverse community-based caseload, including:

• Paediatric NDIS clients
• Community-based Occupational Therapy
• Home Care Package (HCP) clients
• Functional capacity assessments
• Equipment prescription and recommendations
• Therapy interventions
• Home visits and clinic-based appointments

This is a varied role that offers a balance of independence and clinical support, making it ideal for Occupational Therapists looking to broaden their experience.

About You

To be successful, you'll have:

• Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (preferred)
• Experience working with paediatric and/or community caseloads is highly regarded
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Current driver's licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)
• Australian working rights
• Working Holiday Visa holders are strongly encouraged to apply
