🚨 Locum Mental Health Clinician (Psychologist | Social Worker | Occupational Therapist) | Regional Queensland Contract🚨

We're seeking an experienced Locum Mental Health Clinician to join our clients Acute Care Service OR Continued Care Service, community mental health services in Regional QLD!

🗓 Contract Length:

💰 Pay Rate: $80-$90 per hour + super + CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS

✈️ Travel and accommodation provided

About the Role

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver mental health assessment, intervention and care coordination within a community setting.

Acute Care: Focus on crisis response, short-term intervention and risk management within a 7-day service
Continued Care: Focus on ongoing case management, recovery planning and longer-term community support

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health and risk assessments
• Deliver crisis intervention and/or ongoing therapeutic support
• Develop and implement recovery-focused care plans
• Provide case management and care coordination for complex clients
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, nurses and allied health
• Liaise with hospitals, ED, and community services
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation within CIMHA

Requirements

• Qualification in Psychology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy
• AHPRA registration (Psychologist/OT) or AASW membership (Social Worker)
• Experience in acute and/or community mental health settings
• Queensland Health experience highly regarded
• CIMHA experience preferred
• Australian Working Rights (WHV welcome!)
• Strong risk assessment and MDT collaboration skills
