Locum Mental Health Clinician - Community Services | Coastal Queensland

Are you a passionate Mental Health Clinician looking for a rewarding opportunity in a vibrant coastal location? This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within child and youth community mental health services while enjoying a costal location. This contract is starting ASAP for 12 weeks

About the Role:
Join a supportive, multidisciplinary team providing high-quality mental health care within a community setting. You'll work closely with individuals experiencing complex mental health needs, offering assessment, intervention, and support to promote recovery and well-being with Children and Youths.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals and families
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers
• Engage in case management and crisis intervention when required
• Contribute to community outreach and education initiatives

• Registered Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Social Worker with tertiary degree required
• AHPRA registration or eligibility for AASW registration
• Experience working in mental health settings, particularly within the community
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centred approach
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment
