Head of Sales

Seeking a Head of Sales for a growing Australian logistics and supply chain business (open to candidates outside this industry!)

Build a team. Win big deals. Have a genuine impact.

We're looking for a sales leader who loves the thrill of winning, gets a buzz from developing people, and knows how to turn a sales team into a high-performing growth engine.

This isn't a role where you'll sit behind a spreadsheet all day. You'll be out in the market, coaching your team, meeting customers, tackling big opportunities, and helping shape the future direction of a growing business.

The industry can be taught. What we're really looking for is someone who knows how to build momentum, inspire a team, and consistently deliver strong commercial results.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and develop a team of Business Development Managers to achieve ambitious growth targets.
  • Coach, mentor and support your team to win larger and more strategic opportunities.
  • Build a strong sales culture where accountability, energy and success are celebrated.
  • Roll up your sleeves and get involved in key deals when your team needs support.
  • Own the sales pipeline, forecasting and performance reporting.
  • Build meaningful relationships with customers, partners and key stakeholders.
  • Identify new market opportunities and help shape future growth strategies.
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure customers receive an exceptional experience from day one.

About You

You might be leading a sales team in supply chain, technology, professional services, recruitment, manufacturing, SaaS, retail, financial services, automotive, healthcare, construction or another industry entirely.

What matters most is your ability to lead people and deliver exceptional results.

You'll likely bring:

  • A proven track record of leading successful sales teams.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills that help others perform at their best.
  • Experience managing complex sales opportunities and commercial negotiations.
  • A natural ability to build relationships and earn trust.
  • High energy, resilience and a genuine passion for sales.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a focus on profitable growth.
  • The confidence to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement.
