This is a strategic opportunity for an experienced risk professional to take ownership of enterprise-wide risk and compliance frameworks, policies, and tools. The role plays a central part in advancing a mature, future-focused risk culture and enhancing risk capability across the organisation. Leading a small, high-performing team, you will have the mandate to drive innovation and uplift in operational risk, compliance, and broader enterprise risk practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and continuous improvement of enterprise risk frameworks, policies, and methodologies.
Provide strategic risk advice and influence decision-making at the highest levels.
Build and maintain practical tools aligned to industry best practices.
Drive capability uplift and risk culture initiatives across the organisation.
Oversee the development of key risk artefacts including taxonomy, appetite statements, and stress testing frameworks.
Support risk training and maturity assessments across departments.
Monitor the risk landscape and ensure practices stay ahead of regulatory and emerging trends.
Key Requirements:
Strong knowledge of risk frameworks, governance models, and regulatory expectations.
Demonstrated experience translating risk strategy into practical policies, standards, and tools.
A collaborative leadership style and proven ability to influence executive decision-makers.
Experience managing a team, with a focus on quality outcomes and continuous improvement.
Tertiary qualifications in risk, compliance, finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
