Mars Recruitment is seeking a talented Data Analyst to join a growing Financial Services organisation. In this role, you will analyse complex datasets to uncover actionable insights, create dashboards, maintain predictive models, and prepare reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse complex datasets using statistical and analytical techniques.
Build and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor business performance.
Support actuarial work, including scenario modelling, loan-level cash flows, and risk pricing.
Clean, validate, and prepare data for accurate analysis.
Work closely with data engineers to ensure data quality and structure.
Identify new datasets to improve reporting and analysis.
Contribute to improvements in data governance and management frameworks.
Key Requirements:
2+ years' relevant experience (insurance or banking experience beneficial).
Degree in data analytics, mathematics, statistics, or economics.
Strong business acumen to translate data into actionable strategies.
SQL and Excel (core tools).
Familiarity with visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI).
Some knowledge of Python/R desirable.
Strong analytical, statistical, and communication skills.
