The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Corporate Risk Officer on a 3-month fixed term contract,for an immediate start. You will play an exciting key role in implementing and managing a Governance, Risk and Compliance system, supporting the organisation to identify, assess, and manage risks effectively to minimise impact.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain the Governance Risk and Compliance system, data entry and risk and compliance reporting.
• Encourage best practice in risk management and adherence to internal policies and procedures.
• Promote a proactive risk-aware culture in the workplace.
• Update and maintain legal obligations and compliance registers.
• Assist and participate in Work Health and Safety meetings.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have/be:

• 2+ years experience in Risk Management.
• Tertiary qualifications in Risk Management, Business, Governance, or a related discipline.
• Previous exposure to Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) systems.
• Knowledge or certification in ISO 31000 Risk Management and/or ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems is highly regarded.
• Full Australian working rights.
