Locum Speech Pathologist - Community | Regional Victoria
💰 $45-$53 per hour + Super + Accommodation + ADO, Annual Leave & Sick Leave
📍 Regional Victoria | Only 2 hours from Melbourne
📅 ASAP Start | 6 month fixed term contract | Potential extension

An exciting locum opportunity is available for a Speech Pathologist to join a supportive community allied health team in regional Victoria, working with older adults and people living with disability to maximise independence and safety at home.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a diverse community caseload while working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

The Role
You will support clients to remain safe, independent and active in their own homes and local community.

Responsibilities include:

• Working with frail aged clients and people living with disability to maximise independence
• Collaborating with clients, carers and families to develop practical solutions for safety at home
• Developing goals and care plans to support independence and wellbeing
• Managing a diverse caseload of health conditions, including progressive neurological disorders
• Delivering services primarily via home visits with some clinic appointments
• Working across HACC PYP, CHSP and occasional NDIS funding streams
• Supporting therapy programs alongside Allied Health Assistants

Ideal Experience:

• Experience in a community or home visiting role
• Strong care planning and goal setting skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience supporting older adults and people living with disability

Requirements

• Degree in Speech Pathology + SPA registration
• Australian Working Rights- Working Holiday Visa's Welcome!
• Valid Driver's Licence
• Eligibility to obtain WWCC and NPC
