Are you an Accredited Exercise Physiologist looking for a role where you can genuinely make a difference to people's lives - while having the support, mentorship and flexibility to build your career?
Mars Healthcare is representing a well-established national rehabilitation provider in the search for a Community Exercise Physiologist to join their Canberra team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an AEP who enjoys working with people, values evidence-based practice and wants to be part of a close-knit team where clinical development and doing great work actually matter.
You won't be sitting in a clinic all day.
You'll work out in the community, meeting clients where they are and delivering individualised exercise and rehabilitation programs designed around their goals, recovery and return to work.
You'll also have the backing of an experienced Canberra team, including 3 Clinical Performance Leads and 10 clinicians, creating a genuinely collaborative environment with plenty of opportunity to learn, ask questions and develop your skills.
You'll have access to:
As a Community Exercise Physiologist, you'll work with people recovering from injury or illness, predominantly across Workers' Compensation, CTP and Life Insurance schemes.
Your day-to-day will include:
The role is particularly suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, working autonomously and seeing the practical impact of their work.
If you're currently interstate and considering a move to Canberra, the organisation is prepared to provide meaningful relocation support to make the transition easier.
Depending on your circumstances, this can include:
There is flexibility in how the relocation package is structured, with the aim of making it as useful as possible for you and your individual circumstances.
You'll be an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who enjoys working with people and is motivated by achieving meaningful outcomes.
We're looking for someone who has:
Experience working within personal injury schemes such as Workers' Compensation, CTP or Life Insurance would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
This Canberra team is one of the organisation's highest-performing locations, but importantly, it has maintained a close-knit and supportive culture.
You'll be joining 10 clinicians supported by 3 Clinical Performance Leads, giving you access to experienced people around you while still having the autonomy that comes with a community-based role.
The broader organisation places a strong emphasis on being genuine, supportive, accountable and always looking for ways to improve.
If you're looking for a role where you can develop clinically, build strong professional relationships and genuinely influence someone's recovery, this could be an excellent next step.
If you'd like to find out more about the role, the team or the relocation package, I'd be happy to have a confidential chat with you before you decide whether to apply.
