Business Development Manager

Our client is Australia's largest Electrical Vehicle charging infrastructure business. They have grown to be a market leader and are widely recognised as an industry expert in EV charging. They are a team of ambitious people on a mission to break down the barriers to EV charging to ensure a low-emissions future.


Currently, the business is looking to recruit a Business Development Manager. In this role you lead strategic sales efforts to grow adoption of EV charging solutions across commercial developers, electrical contractors, and consultants.


Key Requirements:

  • Prospecting and lead generation, to ensure steady flow of qualified opportunities into the pipeline.
  • Build and execute sales strategy to identify and engage developers, electrical contractors, and consultants.
  • Build relationships with key decision makers.
  • Understand the technical aspects of EV charging hardware, design, and installation and confidentially present technical solutions.
  • Manage the sales cycle from first contact through to closure.
  • Provide pricing, guidance, and technical support to key decision-makers.
  • Communicate with internal teams to ensure consistent customer experience and aligned delivery.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years' experience in B2B Sales, ideally in energy, electrical, or infrastructure industries.
  • Proven experience in account management and pipeline conversion.
  • Strong technical understanding of product design and installation.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proactive and a strategic thinker.
