Account Executive

Our client is redefining the way businesses manage their SaaS spending and licensing. Their platform provides deep visibility into software usage, helping organisations eliminate waste, optimise costs, and streamline their tech stack. By leveraging AI and data-driven insights, they empower teams to cut unnecessary expenses. Used by large, blue-chip organisations nationally, they are a market leader.

The business is looking for an experienced and driven B2B SaaS Account Executive to assist the business on their mission to revolutionise SaaS management. Working within an existing team with BDR's to support you, this role reports directly to one of the company's founders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own and progress qualified opportunities from initial handover through to close across a range of market segments and deal sizes.
  • Lead structured discovery, solution alignment, and value articulation to convert qualified interest into committed deals.
  • Partner closely with BDRs to provide feedback on lead quality, refine qualification criteria, and improve handover effectiveness.
  • Develop and execute opportunity-level sales strategies
  • Deliver compelling presentations to executives and decision-makers, keeping them engaged and excited about our product.
  • Constantly evaluate and improve processes to shorten the sales cycle and enhance efficiency.
  • Track, analyse, and improve personal and team metrics, ensuring continuous learning and performance.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within enterprise accounts.

Key experience and skills:

  • Proven track record in B2B SaaS sales.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage audiences at all levels.
  • A creative, data-driven mindset with a passion for experimenting and optimising sales strategies.
  • Self-motivated and resilient, thriving in a fast-paced, high-performance startup environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using CRM tools like Pipedrive to manage pipelines and track performance.
  • A collaborative team player with a knack for building relationships and influencing decision-makers.
