MARS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (N3) for a 6-week Prison Health contract in Alice Springs, commencing 19 October 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and adaptable nurse to put their clinical skills to use in a unique correctional healthcare environment.
You'll be delivering essential healthcare services within a correctional setting, supporting patients with a range of acute, chronic and complex healthcare needs.
Start date: 19 October 2026
Contract duration: 6 weeks
Location: Alice Springs, Northern Territory

Access to ongoing NT nursing opportunities following your placement
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Experience in Correctional Health, Primary Health Care, Emergency or Acute Nursing
Strong clinical assessment and medication management skills
Confidence working autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams
Ability to meet NT Health compliance requirements
Availability from 19 October for the full 6-week placement
Previous Prison Health or Correctional Nursing experience will be highly regarded.
