Senior Mammography Radiographer | Locum | Darwin
$80-$90/hr + Super | Accommodation Provided | Vehicle Available | ASAP Start-23/12/26

We are seeking an experienced Mammography Radiographer for a locum opportunity based primarily in Darwin, with some travel across the Northern Territory as required.

This contract is available for an ASAP start through to 23 December 2026, with the potential to return in January 2027 for a further contract.

The Opportunity
You will join an established breast imaging service, working alongside experienced radiographers, radiologists and other multidisciplinary professionals.
The role will involve a combination of routine mammography, assessment work and supporting breast imaging procedures.

About You
We are looking for a confident Mammography Radiographer with:

- Current AHPRA registration
- Strong mammography experience
- Hologic experience highly desirable
- Experience working within breast assessment clinics
- Experience with biopsy procedures
- Strong understanding of mammography image quality and quality assurance
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Current Australian working rights- Working holiday visa's welcome!

The Role
Your duties may include:

- Performing screening and diagnostic mammography
- Working within breast assessment clinics
- Supporting Radiologists during assessment procedures
- Assisting with breast biopsy procedures
- Maintaining high standards of image quality
- Completing relevant quality assurance activities
- Working across different service locations when required
