The Opportunity

We're looking for a full-time Registered Psychologist to join a growing multidisciplinary team.
You'll work with children, adolescents and young people, supporting a range of developmental, behavioural, emotional and learning needs.

You'll have the opportunity to:

• Provide evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention
• Work with children, teenagers and families across a range of presentations
• Build genuine relationships with clients and their families
• Develop individualised therapy goals based around the person, not just the diagnosis
• Support emotional regulation, social skills, behaviour, anxiety, confidence and everyday participation
• Work alongside Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, Allied Health Assistants and other clinicians
• Work across clinic, home, school and community settings where appropriate
• Contribute to multidisciplinary assessment, planning and intervention
• Develop your own areas of clinical interest and expertise
• Have the autonomy to work in a way that aligns with your clinical style and experience

The Clinical Approach

The focus is on understanding the whole person, rather than simply treating a diagnosis or working towards a set of predetermined goals.

You'll have the time to understand each child or young person, build a strong therapeutic relationship and develop strategies that can make a genuine difference to their everyday life.

This could include supporting emotional regulation, confidence, relationships, behaviour, social participation, school engagement and family relationships.

There are also opportunities to work closely with other disciplines, creating a genuinely collaborative and holistic approach to care.

About You

We're looking for a Registered Psychologist who:

• Holds general registration with AHPRA
• Has experience working with children, adolescents and/or families
• Has a genuine passion for supporting young people
• Values relationship-based and person-centred practice
• Enjoys working collaboratively with other disciplines
• Brings warmth, curiosity and creativity to their work
• Is comfortable working autonomously while still valuing clinical support
• Wants to continue developing their clinical skills and areas of interest
