Looking for your next Mental Health locum? This is a highly recommended contract with an amazing, supportive team and would suit an experienced clinician looking to step into a key Duty Clinician position.

The Role

Working as the Duty Clinician within the Local Mental Health Service, you'll provide responsive mental health assessment and support to adults presenting with a range of mental health needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing comprehensive mental health and risk assessments
• Conducting Mental State Examinations (MSE)
• Providing psychoeducation to consumers and their families/carers
• Supporting clinical decision-making, triage and appropriate care pathways
• Working collaboratively within an experienced multidisciplinary mental health team
• Managing presentations involving varying levels of complexity and risk

Who We're Looking For

• Social Workers
• Occupational Therapists
• Psychologists

You will need:

• Minimum 3+ years' experience working within Mental Health
• Strong experience completing risk assessments and MSEs
• Experience delivering psychoeducation
• Confidence working autonomously within a Duty Clinician capacity
• Relevant professional registration/eligibility for your discipline
