Occupational Therapist - Aged Care | Part Time

7 days per fortnight | Two Perth locations | NFP salary packaging up to $18,550

Mars Healthcare is currently partnering with an established aged care organisation to recruit an Occupational Therapist for a flexible part-time position working across two residential aged care locations in Perth.

About the role

You'll provide high-quality, person-centred occupational therapy across two residential aged care settings.
Working closely with residents, care teams and other health professionals, you'll assess individual needs and develop practical strategies that support independence, participation and overall quality of life.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive occupational therapy assessments
• Developing and delivering individualised therapy programs
• Supporting residents to maintain independence and participation
• Assessing equipment and recommending appropriate interventions
• Working collaboratively with care and allied health professionals
• Supporting meaningful activities and wellbeing programs
• Providing guidance to therapy and support staff
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
• Contributing to quality improvement initiatives

About you

We're looking for an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist who is passionate about working with older people and delivering person-centred care.
You'll ideally have:

• Current AHPRA registration
• A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification
• Experience in aged care, rehabilitation, community or a similar setting is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently across different locations
• A collaborative and practical approach to occupational therapy
• A genuine passion for supporting older people to live with greater independence and quality of life

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
• Occupational Therapy qualification
• National Police Clearance
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current influenza vaccination record
• Ability to meet pre-employment health requirements
