The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Dietitian for an 8-week locum contract with a regional health service in the Northern Territory.

Working at a senior level, you will provide timely, clinically and culturally appropriate Dietetic services within a multidisciplinary environment. This role offers a combination of complex clinical work, leadership, supervision and service development, making it ideal for an experienced hospital Dietitian looking for their next regional contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based Dietetic assessment and intervention across a varied and complex caseload
• Provide expert clinical advice relating to Nutrition and Dietetics
• Independently manage a high-volume and complex workload within a dynamic hospital environment
• Provide leadership, supervision, mentoring and education to staff and students
• Support and contribute to research, continuous quality improvement and service development initiatives
• Lead and monitor work unit goals and key performance indicators
• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Ensure services are delivered in line with clinical governance, quality and workplace safety standards
• Foster a positive team culture through strong leadership and professional practice

About You

To be considered, you will require:

• Minimum 3 years' hospital-based Dietetics experience
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Dietetics
• Strong clinical experience managing complex hospital caseloads
• Ability to work autonomously and confidently within a regional environment
• Strong communication, organisation and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
• Previous leadership, supervision or mentoring experience highly desirable
• Experience with quality improvement or service development advantageous
• Ability to provide culturally appropriate and person-centred care
