Compliance Coordinator

Compliance Coordinator opportunity supporting audits, reporting, data accuracy and process improvements within a growing national organisation.

Mars Recruitment is partnering with a growing professional services organisation seeking a Compliance Coordinator to join their Operations team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys structured, process-driven work and takes pride in maintaining accurate records, supporting compliance activities and improving operational processes. You will work closely with internal stakeholders in a collaborative environment, playing an important role in ensuring compliance standards are maintained across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support compliance audits, reviews and reporting activities.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records, documentation and databases.
  • Perform data entry and ensure information is accurately captured across internal systems.
  • Extract, analyse and prepare reports using internal systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Assist with compliance monitoring activities and identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather information and support compliance requirements.
  • Investigate issues, identify root causes and assist with implementing practical solutions.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and operational projects.
  • Ensure compliance documentation and records are maintained accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Provide general administrative support to the compliance function as required.

Key Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in compliance, risk, administration, operations or a similar process-focused role.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data management and record keeping.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with systems, databases and reporting tools.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues and support problem-solving.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing positively within a team environment.
  • Relevant qualifications in Business, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline are desirable.
  • Experience within a legal or professional services environment will be highly regarded but is not essential.
