Facility Manager | Coastal SA

An opportunity to lead a home where care is genuinely human, where relationships matter, and where you have the autonomy to shape how a service feels

Facility Manager (Residential Aged Care)
Regional/ Coastal South Australia | Relocation Support and Accommodation Provided

We are partnering with a progressive and growing aged care provider to appoint experienced Facility Managers across regional South Australia.

This is not just another Facility Manager role. It is an opportunity to lead a home where care is genuinely human, where relationships matter, and where you have the autonomy to shape how a service feels, not just how it runs.

You will step into a leadership role where your impact is visible every day, not only in compliance outcomes, but in the lives, wellbeing, and experiences of the people who call this home.

About the organisation

Our client is a well established and values driven provider delivering retirement, community, and residential aged care services across regional South Australia.

Their purpose is simple but powerful, to support people to live the best life possible. This means moving beyond task based care and creating environments that feel like home, warm, individual, and deeply connected.

The opportunity

We are currently recruiting for two Facility Managers to lead residential aged care homes in regional South Australia.

This is a hands on leadership role where you will oversee clinical governance and care quality, team leadership and workforce stability, operational performance and compliance, and resident experience, wellbeing, and lifestyle.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team and play a key role in shaping a culture that balances clinical excellence, emotional wellbeing, and meaningful human connection.

Key responsibilities

  • Clinical leadership and governance
  • Ensure safe, high quality, compliant care delivery aligned with the Aged Care Quality Standards, while driving continuous improvement across the home.
  • Improve Resident experience and lifestyle
  • Create an environment where residents feel valued, connected, and purposeful, embedding relationship centred care practices and meaningful daily engagement.

Team leadership
Build and lead a stable, capable workforce by supporting leaders and frontline staff, addressing performance proactively, and fostering a positive and accountable culture.

Operational oversight
Manage day to day operations including staffing and rostering, occupancy and admissions, compliance and accreditation readiness, and financial and resource management.

What sets this organisation apart

Our client embraces a relationship centred model of care, where emotional wellbeing is as important as clinical outcomes, the environment feels like a home, and leadership is visible, present, and people focused.

This is a role where you will not just manage a service, but shape how it feels.

About you

  • You are a confident and grounded leader who can balance people, performance, and purpose.
  • You will bring a nursing qualification with current AHPRA registration, along with strong experience in aged care or complex health environments. You will have demonstrated leadership experience in roles such as Care Manager, Clinical Manager, or Facility Manager, and a strong understanding of aged care standards, governance, and compliance.
  • Most importantly, you are someone who values doing things properly, leading people well, and creating environments where residents genuinely thrive.

What is on offer

  • Relocation support
  • Accommodation provided for up to three months
  • Not for profit salary packaging
  • Ongoing training and leadership development
  • Supportive executive leadership and clear structure
  • Flexible working arrangements where possible
  • Employee wellbeing support including EAP

Why consider regional

This is an opportunity to step into a visible leadership role, be part of a close knit community, and make a tangible impact every day.
