The Role
Working within the hospital's acute social work team, you will support a range of inpatient wards providing:

• Psychosocial assessments
• Crisis intervention and support for patients and families
• Complex discharge planning
• Safeguarding and risk assessments
• Liaison with community services and the multidisciplinary team

Requirements

• Degree in Social Work
• AASW membership
• Recent acute hospital social work experience (essential)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Australian working rights- working holiday visa's welcome!

Please note: Candidates without acute hospital experience will not be considered for this role.
