Locum Operating Theatre Technicians (Grade 4 & 5)
Regional Victoria | ASAP Start | 8-Week Contract | $45-$60 + super per hour DOE

We're seeking experienced Operating Theatre Technicians (Grade 4 and Grade 5) for an immediate locum opportunity within a busy regional Victorian hospital.

This is a great short-term contract for technicians who are confident working across multiple surgical specialties and enjoy regional hospital environments.

• 8-week contract

• Accommodation provided
• No travel allowance provided

The role

• Supporting perioperative services across a range of surgical specialties
• Theatre preparation, equipment setup and patient positioning
• Assisting nursing and medical staff during procedures
• Maintaining aseptic technique and theatre standards
• Grade 5 roles will also support supervision and guidance of junior staff

Requirements

• Certificate IV in Operating Theatre Technical Support (or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years experience required
• Relevant experience as an Operating Theatre Technician (Grade 4 or 5)
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced theatre environment
• Current mandatory checks and immunisations
• Australian Working Rights - Working Holiday Visa's welcome!
