About the Role


As a Team Leader, you'll manage your team to meet KPIs, quality standards, and client outcomes while supporting their professional development. You'll balance operational, quality, and account management responsibilities, ensuring your team delivers excellent service.

Core Competencies

  • Plan and coordinate injury recovery and rehabilitation for multiple clients
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, employers, and stakeholders
  • Facilitate teamwork by mentoring and supporting colleagues
  • Achieve outcomes personally and through your team
  • Effectively manage and develop a team of consultants

Technical Competencies

  • Provide specialist advice to support health recovery and RTW outcomes
  • Build collaborative, influential relationships with stakeholders
  • Conduct specialist assessments and deliver the organisation's services

Key Responsibilities


Human Resource Management

  • Recruitment, induction, coaching, and mentoring of team members
  • Conduct talent maps, scorecard discussions, and performance reviews


Finance & Operations

  • Review team outputs and operational results
  • Monitor budgets, escalate issues, and ensure accurate invoicing


Quality & Compliance

  • Conduct weekly audits and file reviews
  • Ensure team compliance with SLA, accreditation, and service standards


Coordination & Planning

  • Run team meetings, attend management meetings, and approve leave
  • Report on team performance, accounts under management, and KPIs


Account Management

  • Resolve issues via corrective action processes
  • Ensure all correspondence, documents, and invoicing are accurate
  • Grow accounts and identify new opportunities

Key Performance Indicators

  • RTW rates in line with National Minimum Standards
  • Team meets productivity and SLA obligations
  • File & report review scores >90%
  • Net Promoter Score (NPS) 9/10
  • Repeat referral rate 20%
  • Revenue growth and acceptance of new service proposals

About You

  • 2+ years industry experience and accredited by relevant state authorities
  • Supervisor Certificate (Australian Institute of Management)
  • Strong organisational, communication, negotiation, and computer skills
  • Competent in case management and team leadership
  • Driver's licence


Desirable:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health
  • Comcare accreditation, Drug & Alcohol Testing accreditation
  • Psychometric assessment accreditation (e.g., Hogan, SHL)
