Mars Recruitment is partnering a top-tier financial services organisation, is looking for a Senior Compliance & Conflicts Advisor to join their Compliance team. This role provides independent oversight of the Corporate Finance and Research functions, ensuring the highest standards of integrity and risk management.

You will play a key role in monitoring business activity, managing potential conflicts, and supporting the team in navigating complex compliance requirements. The role offers exposure to the full lifecycle of transactions, giving insight into how different areas of the business interconnect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust frameworks to manage conflicts of interest and protect confidential information.

• Oversee Corporate Advisory and Research activities, including approvals, restrictions, and record-keeping.

• Monitor information flows to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

• Identify, escalate, and manage conflicts and compliance-related issues as they arise.

• Support teams in understanding and adhering to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

• Assist with preparation and submission of materials for regulatory enquiries related to research or advisory activities.

Key Requirements:

• Degree qualified with experience in compliance, legal, risk, or control functions within a financial institution.

• Prior exposure to Corporate Advisory, Research, or conflicts management is highly valued.

• Strong analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.

• Self-motivated and able to take ownership of projects.

• Excellent communicator, able to engage with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated integrity and discretion when managing sensitive information.
