Registered Midwife

Make a meaningful impact in regional healthcare while advancing your Midwifery skills. We're seeking a Qualified Registered Midwife to join our clients dedicated team and provide high-quality, community-focused healthcare services.

About the Role
Work with a primary health care service delivering holistic, comprehensive, and culturally appropriate healthcare to communities in the Pilbara to improve health outcomes for Aboriginal people through the provision of culturally sensitive care to women, their partners/family and babies.

You Will Need:

• Current AHPRA Registration (essential)
• Ability to discuss and explain complex issues to clients.
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve issues on a day to day basis.
• Ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary team
• A demonstrated understanding of the issues and barriers that impact upon the health outcomes of Aboriginal women and babies.
• A commitment to health promotion and community wellbeing

Remuneration & Benefits
This is a Fixed Term Position (12 months) offering a competitive package, including:

• Base salary: $113,100 + super
• Housing allowance: $18,200 p.a. (paid per pay period)
• District allowance: $3,055 p.a.
• Electricity allowance: $1,500 p.a. (paid over 10 summer pay periods)
• Leave loading: 17.5% paid on annual leave ($1,354 approx.)
• Annual airfare allowance: $1,000 p.a. (after 12 months continuous service)
• Total package: $155,409

Note: Temporary Housing may be available (subject to availability) for a short period on arrival but after this time will be the onus of the successful candidate.
