We're seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Manager to play a key leadership role within a modern, premium aged care residence located in North Melbourne. This is an opportunity to combine hands-on clinical care with team leadership in a supportive, collaborative, and resident-focused environment.

About the Role

As the Care Manager, you'll thrive being on the floor, providing hands-on, high-quality nursing care while supporting and developing your team. Working closely with the Clinical and General Managers, you'll ensure exceptional standards of care and compliance, while supporting a warm, inclusive, and empowering culture for residents and staff alike.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering comprehensive, person-centred nursing care tailored to individual needs
• Overseeing medication management, wound care, and clinical assessments
• Contributing to care planning, documentation, and continuous clinical improvement
• Building strong, trusting relationships with residents, families, and staff
• Mentoring and supporting team members in clinical competency and education
• Promoting a culture of empathy, accountability, and professional excellence

What You'll Bring

• Current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a clinical or leadership role within aged care
• Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Australian working rights
