2X Business Development Manager – Sydney and New Castle

About the Role
Our client is a well-established tech business providing digital solutions that help small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) streamline operations, connect with customers, and grow sustainably. They offer a market-leading SaaS platform that supports business owners in managing their day-to-day more efficiently.

We're currently looking for two driven and motivated hunters to join their face-to-face sales team; one based in Sydney and one in Newcastle. These are field-based roles focused on generating new business opportunities and driving sales growth across each respective region, particularly within the trades and services sector.

With a mix of in-person meetings and work-from-home flexibility to set appointments and manage your pipeline, this is an ideal role for self-starters who thrive in a high-energy, autonomous sales environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily face-to-face meetings with potential clients
  • Present and sell a suite of business software tools designed for SMBs
  • Self-source and qualify leads, managing your own pipeline
  • Close deals quickly within a short sales cycle
  • Hit and exceed monthly sales targets
  • Maintain clear reporting on activity and performance metrics
  • Own your territory and drive consistent business growth

What We're Looking For:

  • We're after confident sales professionals who know how to prospect, pitch, and close independently. These roles suit individuals who love the chase, are comfortable working on the road, and are consistently focused on results.
  • Ideal Candidates Will Have:
  • Proven experience in face-to-face B2B sales, especially with SMBs
  • Strong ability to self-generate leads and manage their own diary
  • Experience in fast-paced, transactional sales environments
  • Highly self-motivated, driven, and able to work without close supervision
  • A consistent track record of hitting or surpassing targets
  • Excellent communication and a consultative approach to selling
