We're recruiting a Transactional Service Officer to join a collaborative finance team supporting a well established national business. This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys working across accounts payable, banking, reconciliations and broader finance support while contributing to process improvements.

The Role

Reporting to the Transactional Services Team Leader, you'll be responsible for:

• Accounts payable processing and supplier maintenance
• Daily banking, receipting and cash book reconciliations
• Processing corporate supplier payments
• Supporting payroll, accounting and reporting activities
• Responding to ad hoc finance requests across the business
• Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and efficiencies
• Acting as the Team Leader's backup when required

About You

You'll be someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and working within a supportive team environment.
You'll ideally have:

• 5 to 7 years' experience within finance or accounting
• Strong accounts payable and bank reconciliation experience
• Understanding of accounting principles and transactional finance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Exposure to Epicor or Microsoft Dynamics (advantageous)
