Our client is a well-established organisation currently undertaking a significant Microsoft uplift program. They are modernising their workplace technology environment and are looking for a capable Systems Engineer to support delivery across several key initiatives.
The Role
This is a hands-on Systems Engineer position with a strong project focus, working part-time, 3 days a week. You'll play a key role in the implementation and uplift of Microsoft technologies including Intune, Copilot, Windows 10 to 11, and Azure Files migration. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background paired with the ability to operate within a structured project environment, supporting planning, testing, and execution phases.
Responsibilities
Deliver technical implementation activities across Intune, Copilot, and Windows 10 to 11 uplift
Support Azure Files migration, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues during deployment and post-implementation
Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal IT teams
Candidate Experience
Proven experience as a Systems Engineer working within Microsoft environments
Hands-on expertise with Intune, Azure, and modern desktop management
Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure uplift or modern workplace project
This is a 3-month part-time contract (3 days per week), offered on a day-rate basis. The role provides an excellent opportunity to work on a high-impact Microsoft uplift initiative within a collaborative team environment.
