Sustainability Coordinator

As the Sustainability Coordinator for a global retailer, you will play a key role in bringing the sustainability strategy to life.

About the Role

As the Sustainability Coordinator for a global retailer, you will play a key role in bringing the sustainability strategy to life.

Working closely with the Sustainability Lead, you'll coordinate projects across environmental, social and governance initiatives, ensuring compliance, driving cross-functional collaboration and helping embed sustainability into the business.

This is a 6 month temporary opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate sustainability reporting, including stakeholder engagement, data collection, analysis and reporting activities.

  • Support the delivery of circularity initiatives, including refillable packaging and product "second life" programs.

  • Plan and coordinate sustainability events, campaigns and internal communications to drive employee engagement.

  • Manage product and financial donation programs and support community partnerships and social impact initiatives.

  • Track progress against decarbonisation targets and coordinate local initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

  • Prepare presentations, reports and meeting materials for leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver sustainability projects and achieve business objectives.

About You

  • 2-4 years' experience in sustainability, ESG, CSR, environmental management or project coordination.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong PowerPoint capabilities.

  • Analytical mindset with experience interpreting and reporting data (Excel skills advantageous).

  • Highly organised, proactive and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Passionate about sustainability and creating meaningful environmental and social impact.
