An exciting opportunity has come available working for a reputable international bank as a Senior Analyst, to join the Operations Administration team as part of their wider Operations team. This is a 10-month max-term contract.

This is a broad, hands-on role supporting non-transactional operations, AML screening activities, regulatory reporting, and operational risk initiatives within a corporate and investment banking environment.

To be successful in this role you will have a solid back-office operations background with exposure to either treasury operations, loans and/or trade finance within corporate/institutional banking.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations administration activities (fees, charges, static data, system access, reporting)
• Perform first- and second-line AML sanctions screening for SWIFT transactions and support system administration
• Prepare and coordinate regulatory, head office, and internal reporting
• Support business continuity, operational risk, and information security activities
• Act as a backup for selected back-office transaction processing (training provided)
• Assist with process reviews, operational improvements, and project work
• Provide high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders

About You

• Minimum 3+ years' experience in financial services within corporate and/or institutional banking
• Strong exposure to banking operations or back-office functions (e.g. remittances, treasury operations, loans administration, or trade finance)
• Good understanding of AML/CTF requirements and operational risk controls
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Confident communicator, comfortable working with stakeholders at different levels
• Tertiary qualification preferred but not essential
