  • Regulatory Reporting: Assist in the preparation and timely submission of APRA returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Industry Reporting: Complete and submit statutory surveys and reporting to government bodies such as the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS).
  • Audit Management: Act as a key contact during the annual external audit process by responding to audit queries and providing supporting documentation.
  • Tax Compliance: Work with the Finance Operations team to prepare and lodge indirect tax returns, including GST and stamp duty, and support preparation of the FBT and income tax return.

About You:

  • CA or CPA qualified with 4+ years' commercial accounting experience, ideally within Insurance, Financial Services or Professional Services.
  • Solid understanding of accounting standards and regulatory reporting, ideally with IFRS 17 exposure.
  • Can-do attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and partner across business units.
